Kenny Nyhus Fadil is the writer and publisher behind SimRacerCentral. I run a DIY welded-steel rig in Sweden — a steel-tube cockpit I welded in-house, direct-drive bases, load-cell pedals, and 3D-printed brackets off my own printer — and I race iRacing and ACC, spending as much time in the force-feedback tuning menus as I do on track. SimRacerCentral is where I work through what makes a rig rigid, what makes the FFB honest, and what the network has to look like to even know whether you’re fast.
Background
I run a small network of niche reference sites covering sim racing and adjacent crafts — welding, 3D printing, and home networking all feed into how I build and wire a cockpit. The format is the same across every site: hub-and-spoke clusters of articles, written from hands-on testing, with the buying recommendations that follow from the testing rather than from manufacturer marketing.
How I Work
- I buy or test gear before recommending it. Where I haven’t, I say so in the article and link to the sources I’m relying on.
- I correct mistakes openly. If something I wrote is wrong and a reader emails me, I update the page and add a dated correction note.
- I don’t publish sponsored posts. Articles either come from my own testing or from review samples that I keep for the review period; the review is honest either way.
- I update at least annually. Niche tech moves; the date stamps reflect the last meaningful review of each article.
What I Don’t Do
I don’t accept link-insertion pitches. I don’t run guest posts. I don’t publish AI-generated content disguised as my own. The bylines on this site reflect actual authorship and actual testing.
